Here's a road frame built in the classic style with stainless steel lugs, powder coated (by us!) Blood Red and 60% Gloss Black. This frame has true internal cable routing in the top tube and weighs approximately 4.4 pounds. Remember that this is just an example; colors and size will vary according to your preference...
...and here it is built up. This bike was specifically built for long rides in mountainous territory. The drivetrain features a Sugino crankset with 44/32 chainrings with an 11-34 cassette, DT Swiss rims and Shimano 105 hubs, an IRD Mosaic carbon fiber fork and Easton carbon fiber handlebars. Combined with Soma Everwear 28C tires, the whole combination results in an incredibly smooth ride. This bike was built for the weekend century ride! Note that this one as built would cost approximately $4,000.00.
